This milkshake of strawberries and spinach is a bomb !, but of healthy ones, eh! It is loaded with vitamins, antioxidants and fiber. And the other good news is that it tastes great. Do not miss it!
In full strawberry season I could not resist to experiment with some smoothies of this delicious fruit, today is the greenest I have done; It combines strawberries, spinach and banana. Although at the beginning it may be a risky combination, the mixture tastes very rich, the spinach loses its flavor and the smoothie only tastes like strawberries and banana.
It’s fast and refreshing. All you have to do is crush all the ingredients with the blender until there is no lump. The texture of the strawberry and spinach smoothie is thick and creamy.
The strawberry in addition to containing a lot of water also hides a lot of very interesting vitamins for our body. The most important are the vitamins of group B, vitamin C and E; The latter is responsible for making strawberries a great cellular antioxidant. Also note its high fiber content.Taking this smoothie as a snack helps me to follow a healthier diet and avoid falling into other temptations greedier.
I hope that those who do not get used to taking this type of shakes will give you an opportunity and include it in your snack or breakfast. It is also a great option to motivate children who do not take enough fruit and vegetables, I think the taste of this shake will please them.
