Do you have a rough skin?
Whether one is a man or a woman, it is certain that it is never pleasant to have a rough skin. On the contrary, sweetness is what we all want! Soft, silky and satiny skin.
A baby’s skin, that’s what we want! So, if you have a rough skin, here are 10 tips that will help you get rid of it!
1. Regular Exfoliations
Exfoliations are excellent for fighting rough skin. First, they will remove the skins and dead cells from your skin. Then, with their rough little sides, exfoliations will make your skin much softer.
2. Moisturize your skin
Always hydrate your skin, whatever it is! But if your skin is dry, you will take a natural moisturizer, for dry skin. On the other hand, if your skin is more than dry and it is rough, you will need a very powerful moisturizer. There are very creamy creams or even with active ingredients that will be powerful enough for your skin.
3. Have the right tools
There are tools that can accompany your moisturizing treatments in order to fight your rough skin. For example, you can use a pumice stone, a horsehair glove or even a kind of rasp expressly for the skin. The skin will refinish to become softer and less rough.
4. Use sweet almond oil
The sweet almond oil will be excellent to soften your skin to its maximum. Several products based on this oil exist.
5. Fighting Rough Feet
If your feet are rough, you can soak them for a few minutes in hot water. Then take a kind of grater for the feet and scratch the underside of your feet. Afterwards, put the maximum amount of moisturizer possible (put very thick) and immediately put down stockings. Your feet will be all greasy in your stockings and that’s exactly what we want! Your feet will be like new afterwards!
6. Use baking soda for rough feet and elbows
Mix in equal parts a little bit of baking soda and olive oil. Then put this mixture on your feet and let it act for about ten minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water and your feet or elbows will be much softer.
7. Make good skin cleansing
When you wash, avoid hot water, use very greasy soaps and very soft products.
8. Using lemon
Squeeze 3 lemons and mix the juice with 1 cup milk powder. Apply this mixture to the rough areas of your skin and wait 15 minutes. Next, rub your skin with a pumice stone.
9. Make a mixture of lemon and olive oil
For all your rough joints, cut a lemon in half and pass it directly on your skin. Then take a little olive oil and massage in the same places. You can repeat as needed.
10. Soothe irritated skin
If your skin is so rough that it gets irritated in some areas of your skin, apply small compresses of chamomile infusion.
