You need to treat a burn quickly?
Burning is hardly pleasant and we do not always know how to properly treat a burn. Are there simpler and more handy things to look after?

1. Put cool warm water on the burn
If you get burned, put your burn under cold water for 15 to 30 minutes or until the burning sensation is blurred. Do not put any ice, it could make your burn worse.
2. Cover the burn
Simply take a clean, dry piece of cloth (such as a dish cloth) and cover your burn with it. Do not tighten the skin, but cover it gently.
3. Betadine to clean a burn
One day after getting burned, wash it gently with a little water and soap. Do this once a day. Between each cleaning, always cover your burn with a clean dry cloth. You can also use Betadine to clean the burn instead of the soap.
4. Aloe Vera and burn
About 72 hours after you have suffered your burn, you can apply a little Aloe Vera on the burn. Take a branch of Aloe Vera and cut it in half along its length. Take some juice and put it on your burn. If you do not have a plant, you can use an Aloe Vera ointment sold in a pharmacy.
5. Use vitamin E
When your burn is healing, take one vitamin E capsule and gently apply liquid to your wound. It will do good to your skin in addition to blurring the scars.
6. Do not touch bulbs
If you have blisters that are formed on your skin, it is best not to touch them. They act as natural dressings. If they break, simply wash them with a little water and soap.
7. Treating a Burn with Flamigel
Flamigel is a product that helps burns. You apply a little on a clean compress that you apply gently on your wound.
8. Use gentle moisturizing lotions
When your burn is fully cured, you can use very gentle moisturizing lotions or creams to restore moisture to your skin.
9. Protect skin to protect from burns
If you have recently had a burn, it is better to protect your skin then not to hang or contaminate your wound. Always cover it with a bandage, but it is also good to put a garment over if possible. A long-sleeved sweater, a little glove or pants for example.
10. Do not use butter!
An old grandmother’s recipe says that affixing butter to a burn is good. Well, it is not true, it is not necessary to do it. In addition, you may increase the risk of skin contamination!
